The only maduro is from Cohiba... they aren't cheap and IMO, aren't that good. But others like them so each their own. Other cigars with dark wrappers are the Edicion Limitadas every year. Again, not cheap but they will give you the fuller maduro-ish flavor you want.
If you really want maduros, stick to NC's. I would recommend just trying to get some cuban 5ers or samplers and see what you like. Keep in mind that if you have been a full flavor NC kind of guy, you probably won't be "wowed" by cc's at first. It can be an adjustment so don't give up on cc's after a few tries, just smoke one every now and then and after awhile, see what you think.
If you like spicy cigars, try Partagas. Ramon Allones can be a good full flavor type of cigar. There have been a lot of cigars coming out with darker and darker wrappers... look for dark wrappers when buying.
