I will have to ask my wife what we are planning for my return. Lol joking, may get a few cigars but planning to pay off a few bills.

Planning a bathroom remodel next year with it, I'd rather go to Hawaii but that doesn't look like it's going to happen.

If this year goes like all other years, I will get $400 back from Uncle Sam, and owe the Great State of California $600.

Yep I try to owe every year, not giving them a loan for free they already get enough of my money!

I initially increased my withholdings earlier this year to try to force a refund. But, stuff happened, bumped withholding back down, probably going to get a bill again this year.

Last year was my first refund in many years, got $36 back iirc.

Put it in the bank and get ready to pay property taxes worth a car in June and Sept.

Get a lot taken out during the year to use for vacations and such but this year it's going toward new gas boiler for rental property

No extra cigars for me. This year it's going straight into savings!

We burned through our savings at the end of 2013 on medical bills when the twins were born, then this year we started off with a $1200 repair to our van, then in turn had to replace the dryer, washer, refrigerator, dryer again, another $700 van repair, and then had to full-on replace my car due to a cracked engine. My son also started school, so we have a second tuition bill this year.

It's been an expensive year for us, but by the grace of God (and a lot Craigslist sales) we squeaked by without going into debt! Let's just say I'll feel much better having some savings built back up.

Pay off some unexpected medical bills (emergency appendectomy, Bleh!!) if there's any left, I'll split it between savings and the "Cigars & Vacations Fund"
