  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I'll also +1 on both Mississippi River and Plumb Pudding. I ordered 8oz of Plumb Pudding on my last baccy order. I'm down to less than half a tin of Mississippi River so will need to restock more of that on my next order.

Edit: I don't know why the quote didn't show up but this was in response to Whtwtrman79's question about tobacco you wonder how you ever lived without.

Starting the day with some GL Pease Odyssey in a Non Canta La Ragenella Prima and black coffee. The Latakia smokiness plays wonderfully with the slightly sweet Virginias in this blend. I can't pick out any specific flavors from the Orientals other than to notice there definitely something there adding just a little more to this blend. Black coffee is a drink I find compliments any English baccy. Even though I have only had a few bowls of Odyssey, it is a tobacco I would recommend to any English/Balkan fan.

On a side note, if you have never visited the GL Pease website (http://www.glpease.com/), check it out. Greg used to keep a blog called Briar and Leaf Chronicles (it looks like he stopped in 2012), but the archives are still there and there are some interesting articles.
