Your family ever make their own?
All the time. Especially during the winter. A lot of people will pay for em ahead of time so we'll just make some extras for ourselves. Don't think they'd handle a few days in the mail or I'd send tamale bombs out

Hmm, maybe 2 days wouldn't be so bad. It'd take some prep time though since I don't see my mom much lately. We do some pastry style ones too. With any masa that's left we'll dye it, then mix in whatever we're in the mood for(peanuts, coconut, anything really) they taste better than they sound ha

Going through my towl samples from @Whtwtrman79. Last night was Bald Headed Teacher in a Kaywoodie Supergrain (I can't wait to smoke more of that). This morning it's Frog Morton in a Hilson Bolero with my morning coffee. Dave has good taste in tobacco.

Last night was Old Dark Fired in a MM Cob. Bold smooth and interesting, a keeper. Presently Boswell Dan's Blend in a Brewster. It's naturally sweet, not a fake sugary taste. Agree with @JustTroItIn on @Whtwtrman79 's taste. My wife just walked by and commented on this smelling good. Double bonus points!
