Well the smoke budget just went out the window. I was driving home with the wife and kid when something came off another vehicle going down the road. It went under our car and shattered the oil pan and busted the transmission. The tow guy said it was "all kinda of fucked up." It looks like we ran over a chain saw.

The transmission stopped working at 80mphin the third lane of a four lane interstate. Luckily everyone is safe. We'll just be out three hundred for the tow and five hundred for the deductible. Hopefully that is all it will cost us.

Whatever it was also took out the Mercedes SLK that was beside us. It was too dark to try finding what it was.

I can bore you with plenty of examples where an initial event gets aggravated when a surprised driver overreacts and loses it.

There's the point I made earlier. Avoids rear ending someone who cuts in front of her by diving off a 60 foot elevated highway. .
