I haven't had a ton of sticks in cedar sleeves and have yet to have an issue. I did have an H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon that stayed in it sleeve 8+ years in my humi with no mold issues, it smoked like a dream too... This was all before I joined BOTL and heard all the mold stories (mostly all Fuente related). Now I pull the cedar sleeves off out of precaution, the last thing I want to do is reach into the humi for a nicely aged stick that I spent good money on and see it covered in mold. Better safe than sorry IMO

It should also be noted that the white mold is fairly harmless. As long as it hasn't spread to the foot and got inside the cigar, you can just wipe it off and you should be fine to smoke it. The green mold is a different story.

Those who have had mold under the cedar wrapped cigars, what was the Rh in your humidor? I have a bunch of Anejos and keep the at 62% and figured they would be fine at that low Rh and haven't seen any problems yet.
