I have been wanting to smoke some smaller cigars because I am having less and less time to smoke big cigars, plus sometimes the weather in the spring here in Florida is downright dreary (rainy, sometimes cold and rainy).

I tried a Danneman Mood today because they were on sale when I dropped into Ol' Time Smoke Shop down here in Casselberry, Florida, to pick up some wooden cigar boxes for storage. It tasted like it might be a potentially good cigar for the size but... it was more than a little harsh. I have smoked dry cured cigars before and always felt they did better humidified. I really wanted a pack of Café Cremes because I've never tried one and read a good review.

On a whim yesterday I had bought a pack of 305 little cigars. Totally yuck, tasted more like cigarettes, like cheap dark burley, not cigar leaf. I really miss the old brand Between the Acts. They were non-premium little cigars but they still seemed more like cigars, and they came in an elegant little pack, and had no filters.

I'd love to hear some recommendations on the best cigars with a ring gauge under 29. After finding my bliss smoking those small Eileen's Dreams in the tubos a few times, I realize a short cigar can really hit the spot if I want my smoking to be a diversion and not a chore.

I usually don't smoke small cigars, but I have had the Eileen's dream and moon trance that were good, although flavored. I received a 5er of the blood red moon from CI for free, and although the ring gauge is listed at 42, it's a perfecto, so that tappers down. Too bad they are just overpriced for what they are.

Maybe try a parodi. Bonus is you can leave them in your glove compartment forever and they smoke just as well as the day you got them
I do that with many cigars. L'Atelier is good for a while in the car.

Under 29 is a little tough, but if you are willing to go up to 33, the Don Pepin Garcia Blue cigarillos at 4.5 x 32 are outstanding for the size..
Ring gauge I think influences smoke volume more than duration? Some stronger blends I can't see myself going above a 32-34. I have some Central American smokes like that.

I have some rustic Havana Classicos that have 28-36 ring gauges but are quite long, like lanceros: I end up cutting them down to 5 inches and smoking the trimmings in my pipe, just because they are so strong. Otherwise I start to feel nic-sick. On the other hand, if its a milder blend I do like a wider ring gauge or longer stick.

You can get the drew estate tabaks in cigarillo size. If you like the flavored you can pick up a tin of them for about 15 bucks. At least around here you can.

these lil guys are great! I picked up a tin for 12$ at my b & m they were great for a quicker smoke. I also like the acid blondies but there too darn expensive!
I recived a my uzi that is about this size im really excited to try ill come back and let you know how it does. Im really wanting to try more of the name brand cigars this size. When my son gets here in 20 days or so my cigar time will be cut down so they will be nice! I did notice you have to take your time with the smaller cigars they will tar up on you.
