I have been wanting to smoke some smaller cigars because I am having less and less time to smoke big cigars, plus sometimes the weather in the spring here in Florida is downright dreary (rainy, sometimes cold and rainy).
I tried a Danneman Mood today because they were on sale when I dropped into Ol' Time Smoke Shop down here in Casselberry, Florida, to pick up some wooden cigar boxes for storage. It tasted like it might be a potentially good cigar for the size but... it was more than a little harsh. I have smoked dry cured cigars before and always felt they did better humidified. I really wanted a pack of Café Cremes because I've never tried one and read a good review.
On a whim yesterday I had bought a pack of 305 little cigars. Totally yuck, tasted more like cigarettes, like cheap dark burley, not cigar leaf. I really miss the old brand Between the Acts. They were non-premium little cigars but they still seemed more like cigars, and they came in an elegant little pack, and had no filters.
I'd love to hear some recommendations on the best cigars with a ring gauge under 29. After finding my bliss smoking those small Eileen's Dreams in the tubos a few times, I realize a short cigar can really hit the spot if I want my smoking to be a diversion and not a chore.
