How are you keeping the lines cool between the freezer and the faucets? When my very short tower fan does not engage, I find the first few inches of every pour is foamy. Thankfully my forced air has been working lately.

Honestly I tried a few things. I had a big hydroponics fan blowing up into the tower with a washer dryer outlet covering the exposed lines. That worked too well and blew all the cold are out and kept the freezer working overtime. Now I just sacrifice the first ounce to the gods of foam.

That's a damn nice keezer! Excellent work brother. This was my fridge turned kegerator until I had to move to my tiny apartment. I will throw another together as soon as I have room

I mounted a stainless drip tray after this pic was taken.

It looks amazing. Please tell me your not pumping Papts Blue thru that rig.
Hahaha. It was a fathers day gift for my dad. He isn't the best with maintaining lines so after moving out pabst was a viable option. 70 bucks for a 1/2 keg and it would last him a while.

Wow. When I brewed I never thought to put the fermenter in the keezer. I only did ales though so maybe it would be too cold.
I only do it for beers that call for a cold secondary fermentation/lagering. Pilsners, Kolsch and obviously lagers should all be cold fermented.

After fermentation it's great to stick the fermentor in the kegerator/keezer to "cold crash" for a few days so all the yeast falls out of suspension and you get clearer beer going into the keg
