The dude playin the dude disquised as another dude
Wanted to send a general thanks to the brothers: I broke down yesterday and scooped up a Newair aw-121 for my first wineador build.
The slope is real, but quite frankly this purchase is a vast improvement over what I almost started with. Initially I budgeted $200 and planned on buying a traditional humi. I like high quality craftsmanship in my display items, so it would have landed me around a 50-75 count.
Due to the knowledge and sharing on this board I have side stepped that display item and have gone straight to what I consider to be a better option. I may still buy a humi box later down the road, but there's no question in my mind I'll be much better off with a wineador. Especially since I'm looking to make a box purchase or two.
Now it's time to figure out the drawer and humidification- which I'm looking forward to. I enjoy tinkering, over time this should be a fun little project!
Will post pics when it comes in. And by the way- cost came in at $84 shipped, so I've got some budget left to work with!
