For years I've been a robusto lover. I've recently been enjoying a lot of cigars in the 38-46 rg, 4"-6" range and find myself reaching for the smaller gars when I open my humidor. So I'd like some recommendations of small vitola cigars that you guys are fond of. Kill bill (1 &2) and papas fritas are 2 high on my list right now.
If you've got KB and the Papas Fritas, you are pretty well set. Those two are very solid.

As mentioned, Tat PCR never will let you down.
A couple I haven't seen mentioned above, that are worth looking into are PL Montecarlos (better than PLPC, IMHO and less than $5), and Illusione PC (68). Fantastic little cigar. One that deserves honorable mention for being, perhaps the best 20 min cheapo is the Jesus Fuego Origen Original. For little more than a buck (shouldn't be more than $2, if you hunt), these are an ugly-assed, but very satisfying little cigar.

The small smokes that I enjoy are:
Roma Craft Aquitaine Mode 5
CH Shots
Illusione Rothchild

All can be had for $4 or less if your patient. I have been buying extras this time of year so when winter rolls around again, they will be ready to go.

I am currently on a la palina petit black lancero kick. I am also enjoying the flor del valle in the 6 x 42 long corona size quite a bit.

Ave maria corona, camacho machitos, o x corona, nica libre contras, deisel coronas, camacho corojo maduro coronas (old ones), nestor miranda oscuro lanceros, to name a few...... thinner cigars have more of their flavor come from their wrApper

I just picked up a couple fivers of the L'Atelier Travailleurs to add to my rotation of smallish vitola cigars (comprised of the PCR, Verocru, and Baitfish). The flavor profile reminds me the Fume D'Amour and Epernay--a nice change of pace in body and strength from the sticks already mentioned.
