This is the third Illusione I've tried and each time I smoke one I have to force myself to smoke past the first third. Must not be in my wheelhouse I guess.

EDIT: I'm glad I force myself to smoke past the first third. This one has developed nicely in the middle third, unlike my 2 previous experiences. There's just something slightly abrasive and bitter about the first third of each Illusione I've smoked so far.

Tonight an Alec Bradley White Gold. Not the best AB I've had didn't realize it was a Cuban sandwich when I ordered a 5 pack should of know by the price. Getting ready to enjoy a Bahia Trinidad which is better to me that the AB.

I've been wanting to try LFD for a little while now. On the various internet cigar forums, a number of people mentioned the desirability of "the old flower band" LFDs. Luckily for me, a local B&M has quite a few of these flower banded LFDs, all with very yellow cello, sitting right next to the new script-letter banded LFDs (they also have a bunch of pre-rebranding Camachos). Is this a good find? How old is this stick? 7-8 years?

Also, the aroma coming off the foot and wrapper is so ridiculously spicy that I'm almost scared to light this bad boy up.
I bet those LFD's are smoking nice right now. The old band Camachos I had were hit or miss. They weren't a terrible cigar but I had some burn issues with most of them. Pick a few up and see if you like them.
