Got my GG poker in from the Ukraine today. Very impressed with the initial quality. Not bad at all for $49.49 shipped. This is the briar version, not the pear wood. Breaking it in now with a bowl of '14 Samovar.

Did you leave the stinger in yours? I yanked mine out before I ever put it together. I kept it though. Did not like the restrictive draw it gives you.
Mine did not have a stinger. Interesting that yours did. If mine had come with one I would have yanked it first thing
Smoke it yet? I've been eyeing those since he introduced them. Let us know how it smokes when you can.

Totally worth having one in the stable. Completely different experience.
Please be sure to post up how it smokes. I've always wondered if they smoke well.Was lucky to come across a morgan pipes and Ollie Sylvester collaboration briar cigar that they did last year for Halloween. Can't wait to try it out.

Had some Mississippi river in it on the way to work today an I was very impressed with it. This is the first pipe with a reverse calabash chamber I have smoked an really liked it, such a cool, dry smoke. Chris did a great job on these an I wish I would have bought one sooner. It will definitely be in my weekly rotation.
