Welcome to Seattle man, good luck with the move.
As Derek said, the lounges are all pretty much on Reservation land... it's a terrible State to be a cigar smoker. Definitely not like Texas.

With that said, there are a couple places you can smoke downtown Seattle, but neither are ideal. Union Cigar Society on the West side of Lake Union (by Space Needle) is a nice boutique shop. You can't smoke in there, but they do have events during the warm months where people smoke outside and you can take boat rides with purchases. During regular days, they have a ghetto lounge set up in the form of a bus. Yes, a bus. lol They used to smoke out on the pier until the neighbor businesses complained. But if you start going to this shop and get to know the regulars, the bus would work just fine to hang out and have a cigar if needed downtown.
The other option is a private lounge called the Vertigo Club and is just upstairs from JnJ Cigars shop, just South of the Mariners and Seahawks stadiums. The lounge itself doesn't sell cigars, it's a total private club where people bring their own cigars, drinks and food. It's just a place to smoke and you pay an annual membership. There's a couple people on this forum who are members, it's a nice place.

Out of all the places listed, Smokey Joe's is by far the best place in the State IMO. I've been to the new Stogies that Derek talks about and I much prefer Smokey Joe's... even though I'm good friends with the manager at Stogies, who moved from Smokey Joe's. From Pike Place Market downtown Seattle, Smokey Joe's is 29.7 miles away while Lit Lounge is 27 miles. For 2.7 miles, I'd go to Smokey Joe's every time.
Oh, meant to add if you want to buy cigars in a shop, Smokey Joe's has a very good selection and they don't have the State sales tax because they're on Reservation land. Union Cigar and Rain City will have tax.
How far "North" will you be working? I just recently moved pretty far North to Bellingham. I would be more than happy to meet up for a cigar when you get settled in.
