wow That was a pretty commercial. Almost looked like an article or something.

Gurkha explains they have a client base of very high-end, high net worth individuals around the globe.
These include .....the Who’s Who of celebrities, such as Matthew McConaughey, Arnold Schwarzenegger,

What's unfortunate is their marketing does work and has brainwashed quite a few folks. In a certain Facebook cigar group I'm in, I see posts all the time praising Gurhka and whatnot. Now, I'm not one to say anything about what other people like but I'll say something to the effect of "if you like those, you should try some smaller brand names like Crowned Heads or Warped." The reply is usually something like "meh, I've never heard of those so how great can they be?"

I bought into the hype when I first got into cigars. My first online purchase was for ten Gurkha Beasts off of cbid. The guys at work said, " Damn, you stole those smokes for $24!" MSRP said something crazy like $88 or something.
Every one was Unsmokable. Plugged pieces of dog crap. That is all the money they will ever get from me

Haha I currently have a nasty head cold so I've been reluctantly avoiding smoking. The other day I was doing a typical monthly tupperdor checkup and found a Gurkha Crest in the bottom of one.

I thought what the hell and lit up. Figured if I didn't like it I would only be losing a Gurkha. It tasted like tobacco and that was about it. Got about halfway through and pitched it.
