Sorry you missed out. As others have said, putting things in your cart doesn't reserve them, that would be a hard way to manage inventory for an ecomnerce company.

You could put something in your cart and come back days later and delete it, never completing the order, but keeping someone else from buying that item and costing the company a sale.

Only way to guarantee the items is to pay for them
