The cigar that most pleasantly surprised you in 2015

I can't say a lot of cigars "surprised me"… But the Whore, La Vignoble and (first run) Paniolo certainly did.
So did a super fresh Liga 9 while in Nicaragua.

One was the LA imperiosa. Love the corona. I hated the 2014 LC tho.... Lol

My father 1922 in petite robusto. Had one with at least a year on it and it was amazing!

A really cheap stick called fields of gold. A box of 100 coronas was $25 on cbid. For what it is its a great yard gar.

And the H upmann Connie #1. Had 2 of them and LOVED them!!!

Ashton Symmetry. After what I thought were less than impressive offerings with La Aroma de Cuba Noblese and San Cristobal Ovation, Ashton went back to the Fuentes and just nailed it with Symmetry. Best part is they actually released a Corona when it seems everyone else was staying above 50 rg with new cigars.

Tatuaje TAA 2015 was my favorite this year. First cigar that I've smoked that I didn't want to put down at the end and was left wanting more when I was finished. Great smoke.

Tat p series. Cheap smoke, med- full body, meh-medium strength. Finish is short, not too strong. Has a nice sweet aroma. Consistent smoke and great to the nub.

El Galan is a brand I never heard of until '15. Fell in love with the habano robustos. Same with La Hoja.

Almost forgot the Oliva El Cobre. Was gifted one of these from a BOTL and was really impressed. At under $100 a bundle these are hard to beat for the price.

La Imperiosa - I was convinced that there was no way it would be as good as the LC2014. I don't think it's exactly the same cigar, but it's damn good.

Ramon Bueso Genesis Habano...gives the DPG Blue a real run for the money.

Ok. That got my attention. Long-time favorite of mine there.
