Awesome looking rolls. I hope you are healthy and well soon!
How long are the two on the left? How do you bunch and bind them so long? I'm still working on getting a tight and consistent bunch that's barely longer than my hand is wide....
Thank you! The two on the left are 8.5" long. I bunch using the book method. The leaf gets stacked and then rolled. Seco on the bottom, viso on top of seco, then I tube the ligero and wrap the seco/viso stack around it. It just takes practice to roll an even stick that long. After a while it becomes easy.

Lol, I wish. Still working too, just not able to enjoy the things I love like coffee, beer, bacon, and cigars.
I feel you on that. I'm supposed to be limiting that stuff with a minor condition I have. Don't smoke but 1-2 times a week but the coffee and alcohol is daily for me. I tend not to cut back that much unless it's acting up.

Had some bunches in the mold and my Nica criollo seco filler from LO caught my eye. The stuff looks fantastic and most of the leaf doesn't have any blemishes so I grabbed a leaf, sprayed it down with distilled water and left in a large ziploc for about 45 minutes and then wrapped these two sticks with it. Was thinking how I would like some criollo wrapper and it looks like I already have some. Hope it tastes as good as it looks.

Damn those look good. I'm still learning proper wrapper casing. Waikikigun uses the slow and steady, mist several times a day, but you're ready in 45 minutes and it looks great too!
Are you dousing these leaves? Or spray and shake? Or pat dry? I'd love to know the secret

It's a pretty heavy dousing then sealed in the bag. Take it out, pat dry, and remove the mid rib. Then I gently mist my metal rolling surface and the leaf sticks to it like a suction cup and allows me to stretch the shit out of it to get it smooth and shiny.

Alright Jonathan, you win. Worked pretty well on this super thick veined PA Oscuro wrapper!

Very shiny now!

Thanks man, i tried misting the bamboo board and the wrapper adhered to it rather then stretched. This works really well though.

Btw, pm me nic's address?
