Made this one this morning out of Red Ironbark (one of the hardest timbers out there)

. Came up pretty nice. Still unsure if I want to oil it or not. I quite like the rustic look.

Do you just rout and sand out the inside ? And cigar holders in corners ? I've got a slab of camphor I might hack into

I just used a jigsaw set on a 45 angle, then used a flap disc to touch it up (it's certainly not perfect). As for the cigar holders I just used a rounded file. The plate on the bottom is just an alloy.

Let me look into that. They have recently changed the way it works. Most likely to make it more expensive but there are more options available.
