Hey, guys, you wanna know what kind of a box smells almost as good as the box we can't resist? That would be this box of Sheiks, right here:

I salted away a box for Fall, but I can't help dipping into them. May have to make another box. Holy crapanoli. What a dream aroma when I open it. 1 Jorge viso, 1 Jorge seco, 1/2 Jorge ligero, bound and wrapped in WLT corojo oscuro. Rolled last month. Just starting to meld and mellow.-

I need to get a better camera. They look way better than this.

Yeah I love it when it has that color, too. I had a bag of that from LO once; pity I didn't love the flavor since I loved the color.

Here're a few robustos I just rolled. The one with the Illusione label is not mine. o_O The other four are, though. I rolled these fat fuckers so I had something a little closer in size to an M240 for Independence Day. Notice that I've experimented with not cutting down the head before molding. I definitely don't prefer the results. I like it really round, more like the Fume D'Amour here.

My 40rg and 44rg molds give me a nice rounded head without cutting down. I could see that results differ with a larger rg due to the larger surface area though. You do really have to shove it up tight though to get my desired results

Shaggy feet are quite awesome. I noticed recently that some boutique, I forget which, their whole shaggy foot lineup has a strip of tobacco around the foot where the wrapper meets the shag. I have always done this and I expect to receive my first royalty checks in the mail any minute now.

Yeah, you're right. Narrower gauges are def a better place to practice the uncut head.

Lights easier and you get a flavor change when the burn line hits the wrapper. It's a good way to get a feel for your filler combo and what your wrapper brings to the party
Mine are different shaggy then yours BH, mine i just tuck the wrapper over. That way i don't lose anything at the end of wrapping, aka no tuck cut. Similar to l'atelier tramp stamp.

I thought that was called a closed foot. Used to do that on my perfectos. Got a huge blast of wrapper flavor on the light.

I love these weekends with all the "much-watch" sports, in this case mostly Copa America and Euro soccer and a little NBA Finals action. I'd feel like the biggest sloth in the world if I weren't doing something productive while I watched all that stuff.
One day when I grow up I'll be able to roll sticks like this...... Beautiful
