Yeah... "lances"

I'm determined to roll up some 14" "lanceros". Just trying to work up the nerve because it won't be easy at all to get an even bunch that will draw in that length and diameter. Plus my lancero mold is only 7" long so to get 14" evenly molded will be a bit tricky unless I cap both ends and run an extra strip around the middle allowing the end user to cut in half and I would rather not do that.

Just the other day I was bunching some 44rg lonsdales. I hadn't bunched 44 since March: been doing skinnies and fats recently; and I found that getting the 44 bunches just right took a little work despite having done 100s at that gauge in the past. Probably the extra length of the lonsdales was part of teh challenge. But ANYWAY, often I'll read about some new boutique cigar co., or even some more established one, coming out with some stick in one vitola only; or maybe two. And I think, "Pussies."

Haha.

Apart from getting the fill even and uniform across the length, you need to have long fingers stretched out to make sure the bunch doesn't twist and crimp the airflow. 8" is no problem anymore, but the smaller ring gauges are still the hardest for me to get even and uniform across the whole length.

It can be done... there are cool tricks that would ensure smooth draw on that length ;)
