I want that. Looks like I need a kitchen pass.
I was going to make a mold like that. Drill a hole the correct size in a block of wood, then cut it in two with a bandsaw. They list as cigar molds but they are antique auger bit cases.

Yes, I did.Did you make an offer?
Likely that way will not produce sticks as well as you want. That's sort of my first design, the sticks don't compress right with that design.I was going to screw 2 pieces together then drill a hole.
They old wood ones are designed with the top lip for a reason.Likely that way will not produce sticks as well as you want. That's sort of my first design, the sticks don't compress right with that design.
It's the same design in plastic tooThey old wood ones are designed with the top lip for a reason.
Sweet score man. Show them off when they come in.I just got two of them
Did you push it?Yes, I did.
Unfortunately, I don't think wood is able to keep a sharp edge like that. At least, in my experiments, it won't. I may be able to get close to that with a 3d printer with some work on the design.
It's like an assembly line in my basement. Lol. I gotta get my kids doing this so their old man can work on designs!Another mold out the door...
You can't say "Yes, I did" and not say how much!Yes, I did.
You do really good work!Another mold out the door...
