So, Pandora, or spotify?

SPOTIFY!!!!!

You can find anything you want (by artist / album / song / genre). You can listen to an Artist's entire catalog or album(s), you can make your own playlists, AND it also has a radio version that works just like Pandora.

The thing I hate about Pandora is you search for an artist/song and you end up listening to things that are supposedly in the same genre based off of an algorithm that "works". Sometimes, this is a nice option and again, Spotify has this, too. But 97% of the time, I'm listening to playlists that I created on Spotify.

(full disclosure, I also pay for Apple Music and freaking love it.)

2 reasons. 1. I like the randomness while exercising and/or drinking. (Only time I listen to music) 2. @bwhite220 prefers spotify. Oh yea, and 3. it's free on mobile devices.

Pandora. All day long..
Its free.
It has a little bit of EVERYTHING!
And, with a little work, you can make some really really bad ass stations filled with great stuff you've never heard. Its turned me on to countless different artists/bands.. I'll share some of my better stations with you (I have about 70), but they might blow your mind..

Spotify is great, you can save playlists for "offline" use in case you workout in gyms that are built like bomb shelters and lack any good network signals.



Also, do any of you guys use the dunkin donuts app? In NC, overtime NC state wins a game you get a free medium coffee. Which is regularly. So if you have a dunkin nearby... get the app instead of paying with your debit cards or cash overtime

I rotate between Pandora and iHeart, and Pandora has been the recent mainstay. I have a love/hate with the Thumbs Up station though. It always plays 3 or 4 songs in a row of the same genre, and sometimes I just don't want to hear Total Eclipse of the Heart followed up by Can't Fight This Feeling while I'm at the gym.

Yeah, that thumbs up station sucks unless you only listed to one genre.. mine plays like a bipolar schizophrenic.

I started with iheart radio, moved on to pandora and now use spotify almost exclusively. It is free, don't know whay thats an arguement for pandora, but i got sick of all the "you might like this" shit. If you want that spotify can do it too, but you can make your own playlists.
I still use a couple of my pandora stations for parties, but i say spotify all the way!

I use Iheart as Pandora and my phone don't like one another. iPhone 4.

Life was simpler when their was only AM Radios, and we were too poor to afford a TV. That was before 1961 when we finally got a B & W Used TV. Even had a remote with a 25 foot cord attached to TV.
