I've noticed the larger RG PAM64s to be more spicy / peppery than the smaller vitolas. Letting them rest an additional couple years has helped with the bigger smokes. As such, I bought many more of the Superior, Corona and Principe than any other PAMs.Just had a Padron 1964 Anniversary Maduro (sorry, forgot to grab a photo) and I was severely let down. It was overpoweringly spicy which has not been my experience with previous 64’s. I tried to salvage it by grabbing a cold Coke, but ultimately I just was not enjoying it so when my walk in the 39 degree rain came to a close I tossed it.
I know this stick has a huge following and I’ve never met a Padron I didn’t like before this so it may have been something to do with me Tonight.
The dinner party episode, when Michael tries to describe a wine he’s tasting. “Sort of an oaky afterbirth.” I said that about a cigar last week and none of my friends even reacted, haha!
The worst part of prison was the Dementors. They suck the soul from your body and it HOITS!
That episode always kills me.The dinner party episode, when Michael tries to describe a wine he’s tasting. “Sort of an oaky afterbirth.” I said that about a cigar last week and none of my friends even reacted, haha!
How was the 149? As good as the 146?
Ah, the beautiful kudzu vines. I love seeing them in my home state, although they are parasitic and choke out the mountain plant life. Interesting that they named a cigar after it.
