I'm not doing it today. Powered has been out since 4pm yesterday. It is hot in here and there is no water for a shower.

Duke Power said it may be on by 6pm.

Slow rolling this morning after breakfast. I followed it with a few sets of back and arms. It wasn't really training. The point was to work range of motion and just get the blood flowing.

I hit triceps and back yesterday, nothing today. Last week was rough and now I'm having to work with old records for an issue. Twenty minutes on followed by twenty minutes off still only allowed me to work a little over 1.5 total. Now the concussion has wiped me out again.

Hit back and biceps yesterday.

Today I just went ful veggie mode. I woke up tired and my head was bugging me. So, I just took it easy.

I took a few days off while attending an out of town herf.

Drove my buddies to the airport Monday and tore my left shoulder extending to grab a suitcase. Orthopedic says no surgery needed for that, my shoulder has bigger issues anyway. No upper body for 2-3 weeks, legs and cardio it is.

Isn't it absolutely insane how things work? A couple years ago, I was simply lifting my foot up and inwards while standing, trying to take off my sock. Something in my knee felt like it was going to explode. Limped for almost a week, went to see the doc, ended up healing up on it's own. All from trying to take off a sock.

It's insane and heartbreaking. I'm lifting Volkswagens in the gym 5-6 days a week, but just a simple reach puts me outta commission. I get some depression when I'm forced to skip the gym, I'm fighting hard not to give in but it's trying.

Hope you heal up soon. Being out for something like that sucks.

Reminds me of the time I was running with my dog. She dropped her ball and I stepped on it. The front half of my foot rolled over the top and nearly bent in half. I was down for nearly six months and nobody could figure out what was wrong. Five years later and sometimes it still goes numb when I walk on gravel or uneven surfaces.

I went from lifting at least four days a week and running / jogging four days a week to completely detrained. The food and light duty at work made it way to easy to pity eat and head down that road.
