Big fan of the Colonel wish I could run across a bottle of the Barrel Proof
I got so lucky that a contact put one aside for me at retail, I'd never pay what they want on secondary...but it's delicious.
Been a very long while since I last posted and felt like dropping in. Just a random photo a monumental bourbon moment this past year. Hope everyone had an incredible 2023!

IMG_5342.jpegIMG_5343.jpegIMG_5344.jpegAlso finished Russel’s 10 year. That woodford double oak is way good. I was drinking on my buddy’s stash last night. I will add the woodford to my own stash. Like a dessert bourbon.

sooo is that rye pictured awful swill or am I just not a big rye kinda guy??? I’m new to rye. I wanna like it. I’ll help him through that Elijah but it’s not my cup o tea

Thanks man! Glad to see the glass I sent is still serving a purpose. I got mine but ever since I switched to Rye I use a rocks glass more often. I took 3 months off from spirits when my mom was diagnosed with Stage 3 Kidney Disease, should I need to donate mine. Luckily her levels are being managed but ever since I’ve really scaled back my consumption. Still smoking cigars though. Was lucky enough to win an NFT on a raffle.

I was drinking a lot of rye years ago, but I guess my palate evolved/changed. The only rye I turn to much anymore are Whistlepig barrel picks. Although if anyone has a Booker's rye... ;)

The glass is my go-to, Matt, even need to bring it to one friend's house or he'll make me try to drink from a Glencairn with my Irish schnozz.

Good to hear your Mom is doing well despite the disease.
