View attachment 188422Picked these up last night. Heard the old tub was drinkable so figured I’d try it. Prices were pretty good and I was out of town.
Tends to be love or hate, it’s very peanutty, I like it when I’m in the mood for it, would make amazing bourbon balls or derby pie.

How is that? I wanted to try some of the different corn whiskeys. If that makes sense. Here’s one I’m talking but I haven’t been able to find it even to try to sneakily order it in

I think it’s pretty darn tasty. Picked it up in Charleston SC. Has a cinnamon nutmeg like finish in my opinion.

Semi-Local distillery Whiskey Acres in Dekalb IL makes a blue corn whiskey that I see on shelves from time to time. Curios but haven't tried it yet.

Old Tub is $19 around here, Jake. It's got some of that Beam peanut funk and is not a bad pour. I'll pick up a bottle if I'm going to an event where I know others who are drinking bourbon probably add a half a can of Coke.

My budget go-to when I can find it is Early Times Bottled in Bond, $26 for a liter. I am intrigued by that OG 114 though.
