I didn't even think something like this would be picked up by them.Depending on your carrier you may be able to get it replaced for free ... especially if you're out of or nearly out of your current contract. I'd call up your carrier's local shop and ask before buying one online.

Have bought several aftermarket accessories from ebay and have always been happy and usually at a 75% or better savings. Last one was the car charger for my phone. $40 in the store, $6 shipped on ebay. Look for high seller ratings.I would just type in the search for the battery model number on ebay or amazon. .
Then I would go back to Verizon. They would have the factory replacement you see. Maybe a bit more money. But it will be the right battery for the phone you have.I didn't even think something like this would be picked up by them.
I have Verizon and the phone is about a year old.
Particularly if you have the insurance on the phone. They keep replacing mine and when they couldnt, they upgraded. Oh and if the battery not working is not a viable reason to trigger the insurance, you know what to do right? Then I would go back to Verizon. They would have the factory replacement you see. Maybe a bit more money. But it will be the right battery for the phone you have.
I used this shop (AFAIK) many times in the past. Stuff comes out of hong kong and takes a while to get but works well for the price. My brother and I have used this site many times. Every once in a while they get an order wrong, but they always make it right.
