It seems our 9 year old daughter will need braces. Her teeth are way too tight and some baby teeth are not coming out, now causing the adult teeth to come in bad. Her smile looks good now but does seem to be getting worse and the teeth are getting out of line. There is a newer braces called Damon Brackets. Briefly they are self-ligating brackets or "Damon Brackets." Self-ligating means that the brackets do not need the little o-shaped rubber bands (ligatures) or metal tie wires to hold the arch wire onto the bracket.
The pros seem to far outweigh the cons from what little I know. Now I need to come up with the $5,000 to fix her teeth. I better start selling more paper.
Anyone else have this type of braces or someone close to you that does/did? I would like feedback on this particular style as that is what our Otho has recommended for our daughter.
