PLease help. I like Cigar Caddys. Only thing that I dont like is the trays. Would you guys buy sturdier foam trays for the cigar caddy. It would cut capacity down to 3 cigars per tray instead of 5. so a 15 stick caddy would now hold 9. but you would be able to reach in and pull out each tray without the cigars spilling out. price would be $3 to $4 per tray. what do you think? would be like the trays that i sell for larger travel humis, only smaller.

I might buy extra fited trays to have, but most trips I like to fit the max in my travel hummi. I am sometimes gone for a week at a time and I do not have a ton of room in my bags. So I like my set up not in my 15count but I would get some trays for shorter trips as well.

I've always wanted stronger trays but for me, I like to have a lot of variety and that cuts down the amount too much IMO.

what i am figuring is a package. the cigar caddy 15 along with the new trays as an option. so you would have a choice of trays when you travel.

i was thinking of 4, but that would eleiminate the foam wall between the cigars. a little less protection, and the tray would be a little less sturdy. what do you guys think, 3 or 4 per tray?

ronc --

jwintosh is on the mark. maximize capacity and protection.

just a question -- how much would the caddy and the new trays cost? and if you need a tester for the prototype, just let me know -- I'll buy it and post a review!!!

i sell the cigar caddy 15 for $18. the trays would be a seperate deal. educated guess is that I can charge about $10 for a set of three trays.
it will take about 2 months to get these trays manufactured. Darryl, will LYK when they are ready.

I for one would love to have the sturdier foam for my 15 ct. If I want to take more than that with the 32 ct. I have, I'll just get a tupperdor and bring along. I can't stand those little foam trays that come with them.

I really like these as an option, to be able to add one, two or all three trays in a 15 ct to the heavier version. It would be optimal if these could be switched with the 5 and 10 cts too, at least as far as internal dimensions.
