Hey, I've never even been to Germany.


Seriously though, there is a barn door mentality when it comes to pilots and the runway. We give em the conditions, even tell them that the last aircraft aborted landing, but they get anywhere close to seeing those landing lights they want to make a run for the barn. I'll dig up a video of cross wind landings that are even more extreme if you can believe it.
