I had my first Cabaiguan Guapo last night, courtesy of Hendy. It started off very promising, with a strong honey aroma pre-light and a unique nutty flavor upon lighting. Unfortunately, it didn't really deliver after that. The draw was a little tight, and the flavor didn't live up to the initial impression. It was still a good smoke, but it didn't meet the high expectations I had for it. I'll have to give these smokes another try, though.

Now I now the calander is not my strong point, but isnt today June 1? Had an Ashton San Cristobal Fabuloso while crusing PCH 1 in the 560 SL with the top down. Beautiful day and a beautiful cigar. Now an HUp Mag 50.

Well, it aint' 5/31 anymore, but on that day in history, i enjoyed a Litto Gomez LFD Limitado II while watching pga pros tee it up at the Memorial Tourney in Dublin, OH. Went with my brother, whom i supplied with and RP Edge Lite Toro...he's a very occasional smoker...only when he's around me. You shold have seen the people clear away from us when we started rolling out clouds of smoke. It was like we had the place to ourselves.

And that LFD II was fabulous!!! Got it from OCAT in one of his infamous Yummy Sales. It was indeed yummy. Smoked that torpedo down to my fingernails.

Today I started out with a Juan Lopez Obus, a French regional edition from 2006.

I also smoked, for the first time since 2/14/05, a Partagas Serie D No.3 EL from 2001. These might be my all-time favorite cigars, and they are smoking so incredibly well right now I can't even begin to explain! If they weren't $27 then I could afford to buy a couple boxes! I haven't seen them for sale anywhere else in quite some time and am really debating if I should spend all of my money on them!!!
Hope everybody else is having as good of a cigar day as I am!

Had an 06 Bolivar corona junior on way to work and some unknown GREAT semi aged Partagas. That stick was great, think it was from my poker win at the Tampa HERF last fall.

Montcristo Especial #1 from the mid 80's; absolutely stunning!
Wow...sounds very nice!

NC last night...LGC Churchill maduro that was about three years old. Sat outside on the patio with a big glass of iced tea while reading Charles Farzier's "Thirteen Moons." Life's pretty good sometimes, eh?

Had an El Rey de los Habanos by DPG torpedo. Loved it. That was the first ERDLH i've ahd and it's fits my profile very, very well. I'll be picking up a bunch of these while passing near Pittsburgh on Thursday.

Had a Perdomo Champagne this morning. It was pretty good, but I'm not a big fan of Connecticut wrappers. Followed up with a Little Havana Overrun II this evening: a nice tasting smoke, but I had to correct the burn frequently.
