Well, even though I cant live without by Blackberry, I still have a craving for the Iphone experience. So, I bought myself an Ipod Touch for Christmas. Its a Christmas gift from my wife, so I have to wait till Christmas to open it. Should be a lot of fun. I figure primary use will be surfing net, watching YouTube videos, and a little bit of music.

The iPod touch is a nice piece of hardware...gives you a LOT of what you get with the iPhone, only without the cellular connection....but truth be told, I'm near WiFi 90% of the time that I use my iPhone anyways (my house, friends houses, coffee shops, and my office) so I think you're really gonna love it. The web browsing is as good as you can get short of using a full-blown computer.

I too am now connected to my iPhone in an inseparable fashion. But the iPod Touch is an amazing device and does give you most of the iPhone experience (just not the phone, GPS, or other constant-connection features).

In fact, I bought my wife an iPod Touch for Christmas too!! She's going to be happy!

I am nothing without my iPhone. It is the smartest piece of technology I have ever owned...
Yes, I put it right at the top of the best things I've ever bought. I love my plasma, my PS3, etc....but as far as best electronic I've ever bought it'd be the iPhone.

I should clarify that I also use a MacBook Pro and a .Mac account to get all my mail, keep all my contacts, etc.

In short, I turn on my computer, plug my phone in, and all the details about my life just work...

Say goodbye to that blackberry, you are going to want an iphone soon...
LOL. I dont think so, but you never know. I am very happy with the Berry. I get a lot of emails under different accts, and the Berry is extremely convenient. This Touch is a nice little toy, but whats even better about it is no monthly fees. If i dont have wifi access, then the Berry will do me just fine.

And what cases are people using for there iphones ? My screen is crack and I partly blame the case which it was in. I have accepted it was partly my fault also...

I bought a new Nokia e71 which is a fine piece of hardware for a smartphone. I later got the iTouch and I love it. I only wish I had the iPhone now.

I am getting an Otterbox defender case for my Touch. I figure I will be using this mostly in dirtier, rougher places like my garage, and lanai, so i really want to put it in a tough case.

I guess I just don't understand what the big deal is with AT&T vs Verizon vs Sprint.

The "network" doesn't matter to me whatsoever. I've had all three of them, and where I live, all three are perfectly fine.
