What Do You Drink When You Smoke?

Rum, especially the darker aged rums go very well with a cigar. If I'm trying a new brand or size for the first time I try to stick to water or ice tea (unsweetened). My other favorite pairing is beer, the malt and hop flavors of beer pair up very well with allot of cigars.

I would say it depends on the cigar. Something like a Litto Gomez and the La Flor Dominicanas go well with Remy Martin VSOP. Opus X pairs well with Grand Marinier. The non maduro Perdomos paired very well with a coconut rum or a mixed rum like a Mojito. The Carlos Turano mixed well with a black chocolate flavored coffee with a bit of sugar. Almost all Fuentes pair well with rum.

I don't drink booze either. When trying a new smoke I usually have water. When enjoying a regular fav. I am all about Red Bull, Arizona green tea or Pepsi. Morning smokes I enjoy with black coffee.

Had a Stewart's Cream Soda today with my smoke Went very well together. I wanted one of their root beers but the store was out. I also tried Arizona Iced Tea with ginseng & honey. That also went well with my cigar.

For a while now I've been trying to find the perfect drink to compliment my cigars. I don't drink alcohol so that's out. I usually like a nice cup of coffee, usually back. I heard from a Permgrin that root beer was where it was at so I tried that with my New Year sticks. Of course it was in a glass bottle. It tastes better that way. Any other ideas? What do you like to drink when you light up a nice smoke?

Grape Juice pairs well with most cigars...just plain ole grape juice...I also like scotch

i had Firefly sweet tea vodka and water the other day with an H. Upmann, it actually was pretty good

I had peach iced tea with my smoke today. Went very well together. I also tried a lemon herbal tea with a Tat Artistas last night. That was also very good. I've been trying to experiment with pairing different drinks & sticks lately trying to improve my pallet. So far it seems to be working well.

I like to drink Jack Daniels single barrel if I get the chance. Most of the time it's beer or soda.

Finally tried some Black Dog with my smokes. They paired up great. I tried both El Salvador Peaberry & Ethiopian Harrar Horse.
