Now that's a damn fine smoke... was it a freshie? How are the 08's as good as the rest of the 08's coming off the island?
It is indeed an '08. They are smoking great compared to other years' fresh batches. But, as usual, 2-3 years of age will get this ones to be incredible.

I had a CAO Brazillia pc (no idea what the called it) while I shoveled the driveway. Good cigar. The Brazilias seem very smooth to me for maduros, which I like. I still think I prefer the Italia, but it's a solid stick.

Always did like Brazilia. Amazon mostly.

Smoked the best cigar yesterday... I hadn't had a cigar in about 4 days, just nowhere to smoke when it gets as cold as it does. I've had cigars pop from the cold weather so I don't bother smoking outside when it gets that cold. I went and met a good buddy and he greeted me with an 8yo Opus X DC that was pluming beautifully. I've had the pleasure of smoking a few of these including an OR and I must say that everytime in never fails to make it into the top 5 cigars of all time:stretchgr Now that's what I call consistency!
