I sometimes have it. Alfonso always has that problem when he smokes and Opus or something from Pete, hehehehe… no offense. He just wants it to come off nicely so that i can make a frame with them.

ill keep those tips in mind for my next smoke but what really pisses me off is when they put a bit of glue and force you to break the wrap

I have that problem from time to time. The band will get wet or will not remove itself from the wrapper. I've had a J21 ruined because when I tried to pull off the band, it pulled of the wrapper off of it!

That is my biggest complaint with some of these $10 cigars. Maybe they think because of how expensive they are they need to use extra glue? Either way I tend to pull the band off when I first start smoking especially at work. It helps me avoid mini confrontations from weird customers when I recommend a cigar and I'm smoking something different.

I don't know... I really like to leave my band on until it's time for it to come off.

i read somewhere that keeping it on while smoking will loosen it enough to slip off without damage

That was the "only" reason I left the band on when I was working at the shop.

It happens to me but not to often. I too let it get close to the wrapper and it comes off with little effort most of the time.
