Padron Family Reserve Maduro - one of my most anticipated new releases. one of my biggest disappointments. started off harsh - I mean HARSH. then it kinda got pepin-esque for a while, dulled out to nothing for an inch (except for a little bite) and then kinda got good at the end. WTF? These are supposed to be aged...
Winston Churchill Spitfire - filler is mixed filler blend of 50% Millenium blend and 50% Winston blend w/ a Millenium wrapper. soooo... yeah, this was a really good short smoke!
My Father Le Bijou - the one I snoked was a little wet. The flavors were pretty good though, doesn't have the bite like other Pepin blends. It tasted like it had My Father filler w/ the Nestor Miranda Habano Oscuro wrapper.
Viaje 50/50 - strong cigar! first half was very strong and then it mellowed to just strong. it was a bit of palate-killer. wouldn't be my everyday cup-o-tea.
La Flor Double Press - has that Ecuadorian Habano taste to it, but it burned porrly and had a bad draw. made it difficult to enjoy.
Cain Maduro - the sweetness helps add complexity to this strong blend. the mix of ligero is nice but the strenght and flavor gets old after a while.
Cain Habano - a little more bite than the Maduro, plus a little more leathery-ness. It draws and smokes better than the Mad, but left me wanting more flavorwise.
Cain F - this limited release blend is, to me, stronger than the other two. Plus waaaaay more bite. This one was hard to finish...
