Santa Barbara Tobacco. The thing that sucks is he pretty much told me he was going to sell some boxes to his "regulars". I can respect that but I spent almost $1000 with him last year on black jars. He also told me over the phone i could get a few of each and then he pulled the bait and switch after I drove 30 mins. to get over to his shop. At least I got one of each and the other cigars were all Pete's at MSRP.

So I called all 3 B&Ms within 2+ hours of me that are on the "Additional Retailers" list.
1) was pretty sure they weren't getting any. If they do, they have no idea what they'll do with them (were not taking names or anything)
2) was pretty sure they'd get something, are not expecting it until the 31st or after. It will be limited and in-store only.
3) had no idea whether or not they'd get something, or how much, but if they do it will be limited, in-store only, and probably offered to "regulars" first.
It's strange how the shops STILL don't know what's going on, or if they are even getting anything!

I really do believe once these land that people will be able to get some. Maybe not a full box but at least singles with some daily limit. I know a few B&M's around me that will be getting them and I doubt there are that many cigar smokers that really know about these. I think by us calling them it works against us. If the retailer doesn't know how special they are then that makes it more available to us.
