Congratulations, Wade. I am happy for you and hope that it will not be long, that all of our brothers and sisters can get the jobs they want.

Congrats!! The boat market is really tough right now...but NOW is the time to buy, ALOT of deals to be had, the builders and dealers are feeling the pain! I was coming back from Houston Tuesday and I passed a repo boat heading South (only knew that because a buddy of mine loaded it up that morning and we chatted about it that night). He's loading a few more up too.

The boats I make I'm guessing don't have a very high percentage of repossession, and if one did get repoped, not much of a chance you'd see it on a trailer going down the interstate!

How true! Let's keep the big guys in business so they can buy big toys that keep a whole bunch of folks employed!

Filled out all the paperwork again, everything but an application, third time now. Nice thing is, come 1/1/10 I'm eligible for full heath and dental insurance and get 20 hours vacation! The insurance is huge with the insulin starting for me, that was going to be near $200 a month with insulin, test strips, syringes and lancets.

I also stopped at the shop too and out of 100 woodworkers that were laid off, ten were called back a month ago and only two got called back currently. So I guess I patted myself on the back for being called back so soon, hopefully that means that they liked my work, ethic and attitude.
