Think I got skunked on another boards SS

So I get involved with another board. Seemed like a good place to be. See quite a few of you's there also.

Well, I got into their Secret Santa. Did my job and provided my usual. Well, I think I was skunked by my SS. No packages, no messages, no responses. I still want to have faith in whomever it is. But I got this feeling.

I ain't never been skunked before. That's what I get for leaving home (here).

It is a busy time for the postman. If your SS was late sending it, it could just be caught in the mail. I hope so...If not the we'll lynch him.

Hendy, was it CO? I also post there a bit, and have seen you there a bit. I didn't get involved with SS, but maybe you should contact the coordinator of SS and let him know. We wouldn't want a scumbag lurking and grabbing free sticks. There are enough of those guys out there already.

I just had a letter take 10 days to go cross country... I hate sending money orders because it takes so long with chances of it getting lost so I got pretty frustrated with the guy because he wouldn't accept poopal and I thought some random got my money... it turned up yesterday and all is well.

So there is hope...

I have posted there for a long while, done over a hundred trades... and never been skunked. Been here for less than a year and been skunked twice.... one was real painful. :hanghead:
You never know... I think it's all relative.

Both places, like the rest of society... have the potential for bad characters. The difference here is that the BOTL feel obligated to make it right... and that is what makes this place special. :kissforeh

I won't mention the site because I beleive that is bad CArma. But it has not been mentioned by anyone above.

I hope it's a delay. It's not so much what I got comin, but the ethics of the thing. If you can't do it, don't.

There could be a lot of reasons why it is late. I'd be surprised if it doesn't show up later. (But then again, I am an optimist). Keep us posted.

Is there any way of letting the admin or the person who set the SS program up and find out who yours is? I'd like to play the optimist and say it's late getting there but if you are being skunked I'd hate to see somebody else get skunked by the same person.

Contact the SS organizer. I know from experience in past years that if a person flaked and never sent anything out then it would be my responsibility to give the recipient cigars.
