My latest Humidor made from Koa

AMAZING!!!! I don't know how you have the patience to do something so tedious.

All it takes is a good cigar and time. I have to wonder how much I spend on the cigars I smoke while making the humidors to have more cigar money.:crosseyed

I think I know the Tiger Maple, Hard Maple and Walnut. Which is the Koa? Is Koa also called Monkey Wood in Hawaii?

Very nice work.

The Koa is the darker highly figured wood on the top and the sides. It's so very rare to find it with this much figure. The only other time I saw Koa with this much figure was on an acoustic guitar that was over $50,000.00 bucks. I wish I could find more. Worst part is, I didn't save any for myself.:frown:

I do have access to Koa wood, it grows wild on our neighboring islands!!!!
