Love the broadleaf! - I think this is the perfect vitola to have as the first full production maduro in this line. I personally was pulling for the cazador - but a new size corona gorda? Hell yes.

Okay guys. Broadleaf is still in short supply but Pepin secured enough for me to make this new cigar in full production and continue making all my regular broadleaf cigars without a hitch. La Riqueza, El Triunfador OG and Cabaiguan Guapos Maduro. This will leave me some leftover for The Face if I do it. Timeline on the face is pretty normal for us on production. We are using well fermented tobacco that doesn't need a lot of time to rest after being rolled to smoke. The Franks were rolled and shipped within 120 days. We plan ahead a long time but the cigar production is pretty normal for us. Last year the Monster cigars were rolled over 120 days out but the boxes were made way too late.

Thanks for the update, Pete. Is anyone else (other than in the CRV or PA) trying to grow Broadleaf?

Litto's had to go to Habano Maduro in his Maddie blends due to the BL issues.

Smoked a handful of both of the cg this week and can tell you that they are smoking beautifully. Think these were some of my favorite of the trip.
