Cool, to each his own. Do whatever works best for you!

Personally, I keep my humi (wine cooler) in the closet of my office, so I keep this display unit on my desk where I work all the time and I can keep an eye on it that way without having to go into the closet.
If my humi was in my closet I would defiantly get one of these.
Mine sits on my dresser so I have no need for a wireless one.

many moons ago, i wanted the "best" hygrometer. Me and Arlin Liss found a recalibratable hygrometer with a professional salt test kit. It was well over $100, but it worked perfectly. I had a few doubters regarding the accuracy, so a fellow cigar electronics manufacturer volunteered to get it tested at the high dollar lab that he used.
The results were perfect. The real killer was replacing the salt test kit. If I remember right, it was about $70 to replace the salts when they dried out.

we are now lucky enough to have the recalibratable hygrometer with the slat test kit from Humidipak. Just as accurate as my high dollar kit, and replacement claibration kit is about $5. How can you go wrong? When you can but the best for $25, does it really pay to try to get something for less $?

I like way you think Ron.
Thanks again for the hygrometer!
Glad to doing business with a fellow BOTL member.

Get a wireless one! Click the picture for the cheapest result of this model from Froogle! Mine works GREAT!
Very cool. I'm setting up a coolerdor (?) in the next week and this would work perfect.

Between guns, home theater, photography, and videography I need to find some cheaper hobbies :)
