I wish I could store and age cigars with such a simple and low cost solution such as a large tupperware container, but unfortunately I have to employ the aid of 2 cubic ft Coleman cooler to store the majority of my cigars in. In the area of Southern Ontario which I reside, temperatures typically range from about 8 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit (-14 to +38 Celsius) throughout the year, with the RH firmly in the 80's-90's during the summer months and the 40's-50's in the winter.
However, if you live in a more stable climate than me, or simply employ the central air/heat PROPERLY (people in my area like to "play" the how long can you go without heating and air conditioning game, my parents included), the plastic container solution is probably just as good as a tupperdor.
