Music and Cigars

I was wondering what everyone else listens to. While enjoying a good cigar. I usually listen to country but today I put in ZZ Top. It was Chrome, Smoke and BBQ their box set. I would have to say it was a good choice.

Usually a sports station. Not music but it's what I usually listen to.

Depends on what kind of a mood I'm in. Sometimes at night I just like to sit on the deck with a cigar and listen to the sounds on the insects and frogs, but since I live in town it's often tainted with the noise of cars and what not. When I do listen to music it's either country (not really any artist in particular) or a favorite band (Reel Big Fish, Five Iron Frenzy, Old Crow Medicine Show are just a few).

I listen to the Braves if they are playing. If not, I'll put on a pandora station with some Bob Dylan or O.A.R. streams.

I play a Pandora custom mix of Pink Floyd, Rush, U2, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Bon Jovi.

At other times I listen to a mix of Vern Gosdin, Willie Nelson, Stoney LaRue, Eric Clapton & Stevie Ray Vaughn.

I'm a big fan of hard rock and metal myself, so its usually Tool, Disturbed, Iron Maiden, or In Flames. I also have a classic rock slant as well so I add in some Floyd, Rush, Black Sabbath, or some AC/DC

i listen to afro-cuban stuff a la Ibrahim Ferrer, or sometimes i pop in the bossa nova... Jobim's "Stone Flower" is a great record... other than that, it's the sound of the dominos slapping on the wooden table.

Usually 97.9 the loop... classic rock or K-Billy's super sounds of the 70's

I have all the FIF stuff!! Awesome! Also a couple Insyderz cd's and plenty of MMB!

But... When I'm smoking cigars, I usually like to listen to either jazz, or some lounge-ish type music: Dean Martin, Sinatra, RatPack, Louis Prima, Cab Calloway. When it's warm, summertime, I love to listen to stuff like the afro-Cuban jazz, like Sean mentioned!

And sometimes, I listen to podcasts... especially DogWatch.
