That's me, I'm too damn lazy to walk downstairs every time I want to smoke a cigar....one humi in the living room and the cabinet in my office, both on the main floor in my house!Yea the basement is the way to go if it's not a PITA to move all your cigars down there.
I know a guy who has a whole room that is that way. He stores all his boxes in there with a separate room AC and a humidifier.
Are you sure this isn't the CI warehouse?:hystericaI know a guy who has a whole room that is that way. He stores all his boxes in there with a separate room AC and a humidifier.

you need to get a wine fridge. maybe you can encase it in some really nice woodwork.Unfortunately I get to tease you guys in the cold winter but it's your turn to fire back. It'll be 107* this weekend. No chance in hell (Literally) of me keeping my cigars in a room like that here. I've been very lucky though, never had bugs in the humi even though it's about impossible to get it below 76 degrees in the summer.
That would be sweet!you need to get a wine fridge. maybe you can encase it in some really nice woodwork.
Amen, Travis. If it weren't for my basement, my cigars would be cooked! My basement is the same way. In fact, I keep all my cigars in cigars boxes in a huge rubbermaid container with no humidification device and it stays around 60%rh and 65F
Living in Kansas, a basement is good for more than just hiding from Tornados!!!
