I smoked one of each size and thought the smaller sizes, robusto and corona, performed better overall. I really enjoyed the corona, I felt it had great flavors and was a good medium bodied smoke. However, the larger sizes def need much more downtime. I found them tunneling and just not keeping lit, which for me ruins the entire experience. I did buy a box of the robustos and found I would have very different experiences with each stick. Some were amazing, some were underwhelming, and some just plain old needed a few months to rest. I agree that with the right amount of time to rest, these will be great smokes.
My local B&M has a few boxes of Cruzados from the original release and he just put a box out. Now from memory, I thought these were OK smokes, but after smoking one the other day I was blown away. It was such a tasty smoke.
So the short version of my answer is they need more time to rest.
