I had a corona larga the other day––has potential to be a nice medium-bodied stick I think, so I'm giving the rest a few more months in the humidor to see how they fare with some time. Overall, though, I was disappointed....

Im hoping these are like my cruzados... when I bought the box they were not doing it for me at all. After about 6 months, they blew my mind and have been great since.

I smoked one of each size and thought the smaller sizes, robusto and corona, performed better overall. I really enjoyed the corona, I felt it had great flavors and was a good medium bodied smoke. However, the larger sizes def need much more downtime. I found them tunneling and just not keeping lit, which for me ruins the entire experience. I did buy a box of the robustos and found I would have very different experiences with each stick. Some were amazing, some were underwhelming, and some just plain old needed a few months to rest. I agree that with the right amount of time to rest, these will be great smokes.

My local B&M has a few boxes of Cruzados from the original release and he just put a box out. Now from memory, I thought these were OK smokes, but after smoking one the other day I was blown away. It was such a tasty smoke.

So the short version of my answer is they need more time to rest.

I just got 5 of these in a mixed box at an Illusione event at my local last night. From what I'm reading here, maybe I'll try them out in a few months.

From the ones I've had I can't share some of the excitement a couple of guys around my parts had about their pre-release sticks, but I do find them to be an enjoyable smoke with enough complexities to keep me interested.

I bought a couple of sampler packs and I've smoked a few now. They are good cigars, but every time I smoked one, I wished I would have just went ahead and smoked an Illusione instead.

Big Illusione fan but I have to say the 3 Nosotros I have had have been disappointing. The flavor just isn't doing it for me and I was very surprised. That said I have a few more than I am going to rest for a few months and come back to. I am praying rest helps me like these because I was really looking forward to them.

I'm with Panicbound on this one. I had the Corona and didn't like it at all. The smoke seemed to get worse as it progressed, and I had to set it down well before the band. It wasn't enjoyable at all and had an awful charred tobacco finish, along with a terrible bitterness on each puff.

Different smokes for different folks though, so remember to smoke what works for your palate!

I've smoked a couple of the robusto's & was disappointed. I am a Dion Ho-Bag so I was really looking forward to this release. I've pretty much convinced myself that this guy can't make a bad stick... So I blamed it on Jonathan Drew. :agreesmil J/K... They were ROTT pretty much, so I've kept that in consideration, & seeing some of the replies about them needing some time is a little comforting. :) I need to try a few other sizes too.

Being a big Illusione fan I grabbed a few Corona Largas and enjoyed them but they definitely taste young.

IMO, after about 6-12 months rest they will be a very tasty mild-medium stick...

Although I will agree, I think they're overpriced!

I bought the fiver sampler from NHC and I must say I liked all of them. At this price-point, you gotta deliver some complexity, and I thought they delivered. Almost at the Tat Brown level....but not quite :)

Haven't tried them yet, but I've heard that they can still use some aging. May pick a few up and bury them in the humi for a while.

As a rather big fan of the boutiques I was looking forward to trying this one; especially with such a delayed release. The reviews have been less than stellar, so I will probably wait for a trade.
