This shop is 60miles from me and I plan on being there for the Tat event.
I have heard that they are already taking preorders, and they are selling boxes ONLY for $240. Not sure if they will be selling any singles at the event, or if any will be left after taking preorders.

I'm thinking about going to the event too. I have not been to one of their bashes but I have heard about them and looked at the pics... looks like a good time. Lots of people though :disappoin Don't get me wrong... it's good that they draw a lot of people but sometimes too many makes it a hastle to go. For those that have been at one of Outlaws bashes does the huge amount of attendees take the fun out of it? Or does it add to the fun?

Well if you want to partake in the food and beer, get there early.
The new Outlaw in OP is now the better one to go to. It is more spread out and has alot more room. People are still every where but you can still usually find a place to sit.
Its not as bad as the N. Outlaw.

Looks like the event starts at 9:00. What time do they typically bring the grub out?? I want some of that pig :drool:

They made it clear to me last year they did not want my business. I will not disappoint them this time....

+1. Out of principle, I will not buy from the outlaw. It would have been nice to receive a courtesy call back after being told that, even if I do not get the opportunity to buy a full box of Dracs, my place on their "list" (in the first 5) would almost guarantee a few sticks. I respect the decision to sell only to locals, but their customer service for new customers was just not up to par. Best of luck to those seeking these out; hopefully, the outlaw will learn from its mistakes and handle this one better.

Well, like it or not, just this one thread in one cigar forum shows how these limited runs generate publicity for a brand.

This kind of advertising/marketing is free, and worth its weight in gold. Very smart thinking, and it will continue to follow the same pattern next time it happens.
