It's about time that I upgrade to a larger cooler (I'm currently using a 25qt. cooler.) I've read on here that the Coleman Extreme has some problems keeping humidity. What brands/models are you using, and are you happy with it?
From a website for the 70 qt. Coleman xtreme (not recommended, but still a 70 qt)- 24" x 9.75" x 12.75"Anybody with a 70qt able to provide interior dimensions?
I did this with my current cooler with very good results. I was looking online to save a bit of money so I likely won't be able to test it.When you go searching for one, bring a piece of paper. Close the paper in the lid, if you can pull it out easily, then the seal is no good. Make sure you do the test on all sides.
Point taken... but you can always shop in stores, find the one you want and buy onlineI did this with my current cooler with very good results. I was looking online to save a bit of money so I likely won't be able to test it.
You can modify the cooler anyway you want. I had shelves & drawers in mine when I first started using a cooler. Hot glue and dowels are your friend....Ah, I was hoping to find a cooler that would fit the standard cedar trays like this:

Any ideas (w/o cutting the trays)?
Justin the Igloo cooler linked above that I have has inside dimensions of 34.5" long and 13.5" wide. If you are talking about these as standard Cedar Trays, they fit perfectly as your diagram shows. The one I have with trays has four of these trays stacked on one end exactly like your diagram shows. You could stack them five high and could actually have four rows of five trays if you wanted to, giving you 20 trays in one of these coolers if you were so inclined to set the cooler up that way..Ah, I was hoping to find a cooler that would fit the standard cedar trays like this:

That's a lot of gars opeyes::eyequiveropeyes::eyequiveropeyes:I have four of these 120 qt Igloo coolers.
The trays I have as described and linked above, which are pretty much the standard cedar trays that you will find at most online retailers that carry them, will hold approx 30-32 cigars with a 50 ring gauge or around approx 36-38 cigars with a 42 ring gauge for a general reference. Without knowing what the exact inside dimensions are on all of the other different size coolers I couldn't state an accurate count for those coolers. The 120 qt Igloo coolers that I have though, if they were completely full of trays, which would be 20 trays would hold approx 600-640 cigars of 50 ring gauge or 720-760 cigars of 42 ring gauge generally speaking. How do all these different qt sizes translate into approximate cigar capacity? (Assuming they have trays in them)
Awesome! Thanks, those are the right trays, when Ilooked them up quickly yesterday I found a link to trays that were 14.5" long not 12.5". The 12.5" trays you linked are the ones I have. Thanks info bro, I will be getting something similar if not the exact cooler you linked!Justin the Igloo cooler linked above that I have has inside dimensions of 34.5" long and 13.5" wide.
